In the following Contra Costa Times article the latest foreclosure filings are reported and it shows a decline in the number of foreclosures for Danville and San Ramon real estate. In fact the decline is throughout the entire East Bay. The article also goes on to say what we have been saying for awhile and that it is not that homeowners are back on track with their mortgages but more related to the fact that more short sales
are being transacted now than ever.

I am attaching an article, which was published in the Contra Costa Times, that all buyers of Danville, San Ramon, or any real estate should read. My point is to reinforce the need for inspections prior to closing on the purchase of real estate. If you are being represented correctly, you have a contingency period during the escrow process for your home sale. Please do not skimp on inspections just to save a few hundred dollars. This is especially true when buying bank owned
