The following graph depicts what has been happening with the price per square foot for sold homes in the Bay Area city of Lafayette. We find this to be similar to other East Bay Area cities and find that it is in line with our projections. Also, you may notice a flattening of prices over the last month. This is also a trend that we are seeing in other Bay Area cities. I do have some concern over what the final August graph will look like because we are seeing fewer closed sales and an uptick in escrows that fall out.
