Home Sales in the Bay Area Town of Alamo Show Some Strength During Market Correction

The following graph indicates a market for home sales in the Bay Area town of Alamo that is a bit slower than last year but moving up. The recent uptick in sales is most likely related to the seasonality of the Alamo Real Estate Market where most sales occur during the summer months. It is encouraging that we are seeing people buy homes in this high end market in spite of the dire economic news we are barraged with. It also points to the stability of this East Bay market. While I do expect sales to fall off a bit over the fall and winter, I would not be surprised to see numbers very close to last years.
