The attached USA Today article reports on the increase in Pending sales for single family detached homes compared to the previous month. The article discusses the increase on a national level but we have seen the same increase for Danville and San Ramon real estate as well. In fact Pending sales are up on a higher percentage than the national levels in our East Bay communities. The fact that sales are down while pending’s are up points to a large number of short sales being sold. We are now starting to see banks move more foreclosed
homes to the market and expect this to increase over the next several months.
