San Ramon’s farmers market is going year-round and changing locations in May

A second market day, a seasonal market on Thursdays will be added to the schedule in June.

SAN RAMON — San Ramon’s farmers market is going year-round, adding another sale day and changing locations.

Beginning May 7, the popular Saturday market will start its year-round operation. It is also moving to the Bishop Ranch Business Park in the parking lot along Sunset Drive, between Bishop Drive and Bollinger Canyon Road.

The location is within walking distance of the shopping center home to Whole Foods and Target, and will also provide more parking for farmers market shoppers.

The outdoor market had been held at Forest Home Farms historic park on San Ramon Valley Boulevard since 2007. Moving the market, according to a release by market manager Alisha Meloy, has re-energized vendors and new vendors have also come on board.
